Chris was great to work with. I hired them to repair some cracked stucco in a few areas around the chimney. His crew worked fast and the results were great — the whole chimney was recoated so the repair is invisible. Color match was perfect. I’m going to keep this team in mind for any future work I might have. If you have a stucco job I recommend giving them a call.
Edit - part 2: I hired Alvarenga Stucco again — this time for a bigger job — a whole-house makeover. Since I was also replacing the roof which met the stucco walls in some spots, it meant the roofer had to cut away a portion of stucco near the roof. I had proper flashing put in between that interface and the Alvarenga team repaired and re-stuccoed those walls. I took this as an opportunity to change the color of the whole house as well and modernize the appearance by removing some ornamental features so they re-stuccoed those walls as well. The remainder of the walls that didn’t need repair or modification they simply recoated. The result was perfect.
I want to highlight that they take care to do things the right way, and with attention to water intrusion prevention. I rarely post reviews but from the excellent communication with Chris throughout the project, to the attention to detail, to the final walkthrough, this family business is deserving of 5 stars. They care about their work and it shows. Thank you!!
